The Entrance

“Rise of Chaos” by Accept

The lights in the arena fade out as the chugging intro of “Rise of Chaos” by Accept hits the speakers. The squealing guitar solo kicks in as Evan Ward walks out onto stage with a slight limp.

Bryan McVay: Now approaching the ring, hailing from Hay-on-Wye, Wales, weighing in at 215lbs, he is the Hall of Famer, EEEVVVAAANNN WWWAAAARRRRDDD!

Ward raises a fist in the air to the angry and  loud reaction from the fans and heads down the ramp, acting smug and cocky as he goes. He climbs up the steps and up onto the turnbuckle, raising another first in the air to a roar of boos from the crowd. He jumps off the turnbuckle nimbly and runs off the ropes a few times to warm up. He walks over to his corner, stretching and warming up with some punches and kicks as he awaits his opponent.

This move can be locked in from various situations, e.g. over the ropes for extra leverage. Ward can also use various highflying takedowns to smoothly get into the submission out of nowhere. ———- Alternative Submission Finisher (Used for big opponents he can’t lock the Sacred Ward Family Credenza in on): Oh God, Oh God, The Insatiable Hunger Can Not Be Contained: Ward locks in an Octopus Stretch and snacks on his opponent’s ear. ——— High Impact Finisher: Third Generation Award Winning Knee: A Shining Wizard –  Ward sprints at the opponent and steps up to knee them in the face. ———-

With the opponent facedown, Ward locks in a Deathlock, pulls their arms behind them and falls backwards to lift them in the air for a Romero Special, smoothly transitioning from holding their arms to locking in a Dragon Sleeper with them still held in the air by Ward’s feet with the Deathlock. ————- Second Generation Prize Winning Piledriver: Jumping sitout cradle piledriver. ———–

About the Wrestler

Short Bio including Personality:

Evan Ward is a highly successful wrestler with a storied history in HOW, known for his high paced, high flying, death defying approach to wrestling which made him a record setting TV Champion, a reknowned Tag Champion, a Hall of Famer and a former World Champion. After the events of War Games 2023 left Evan in a catatonic state he is unable to compete as normal, however he was continued to be booked under the care of Trent who threw him around like a ragdoll to “help” him hit his moves on his opponent. At the 97Red pay-per-view in Australia, Steve Solex repeated the move which injured Evan at War Games and the shock somehow managed to awaken him from his catatonic state, reconnecting his consciousness and jumpstarting his body which led him to victory in the match. Now he is bitter and angry at being abused and mistreated by HOW and his opponents while physically unable to compete and is looking to take it out on whoever steps in the ring against him.

Since 97Red left Ward with a grievous leg injury, he has changed up his wrestling style to be a throwback to the roots of his family’s wrestling heritage as well as the roots of wrestling in the United Kingdom. His new style is a sadistic arsenal of joint locks which Ward will use at an opportunity to break hands and fingers. Combined with more illicit moves like stomps, gouging and biting, Evan takes a pervse pleasure in attacking a rarely chosen extremity to get a submission from his opponent or hear the snap of bone.

War Games 2013 Sole Survivor
