Train of Thought

For many its a train of thought.

You thought small, it grows with earnest desire, you smile as its shape…the form muddled, but you know greatness, as your father taught you, didn’t happen in a day. You continue to to mold it, your youthful desires helping it shine brighter than what it would originally.

It always draws attention, your thoughts split…never meant to be, never should have. Yet you continue, you surge forward, slowed down by negative thoughts.

It wears on you, feelings are for the weak you’re taught, you will never rise up and out of your situation if you continue to hold that hand. You knew others were right, but you never took it for granted. It merely builds character, it solidifies what made you who you were.

Yet you knew what drove the moments when it counted, you knew what boiled the blood when you wanted to run, when you wanted to look away and yet you saw your chance right in front of you.

Alignment…seek it, obtain it, treasure it.
