What is War?
War is an intense armed conflict between states, governments, societies, or paramilitary groups such as mercenaries, insurgents, and militias. It is generally characterized by extreme violence, aggression, destruction, and mortality, using regular or irregular military forces.
What is a Game?
A physical or mental competition conducted according to rules with the participants in direct opposition to each other.
Throw them together and what is a War Game?
A simulated battle or campaign to test military concepts and usually conducted in conferences by officers acting as the opposing staffs
However, this weekend there will be no simulated battles. There will be a campaign alright between two opposing forces that will collide in two steel cages and only one will emerge victorious with a 97 Red trophy held high.
Location: Kyiv, Ukraine: Random Building
June 10, 2022: Time: 2:30 pm
As the image comes into view we see members of the EPU surrounding an abandon housing building that has been involved in the Russian and Ukrainian Conflict. Vehicles of various types are destroyed and burnt to a crisp. The housing complex has holes of various sizes in the structure. As we head into the building we see more EPU guards in the hallways and various rooms before we see Lee Best’s insurance policy sitting in a chair. Stevens looks vastly different than the last time we seen him as his long hair has been shaved and his beard is shorter but still retain the salt and pepper tone. The Texan is wearing his mandatory bulletproof vest ordered by Lee Best to wear at all times when outside the hotel.
Stevens takes one final look around the room and lets out a sigh before slowly rising to his feet and heading towards the exit of the room.
“The Package is on the move. I repeat The Package is on the move.” One of the EPU guards relays on his radio. Stevens somberly walks down the hallway before stopping to look at a picture that is barely hanging on the wall. He sees that this house once contained a family of five; a wife, a husband, a boy and two little girls. Scott quickly turns and exits the building and once outside the EPU guards surround the Texan in a diamond formation. As the EPU begins to lead Stevens toward an armored SUV that has pulled up, the Texan sees something in the distance and pushes one of the guards out of the way and the EPU begin to scramble to protect him as he walks over to what he saw and that would be toys. All kinds of toys that have been left behind and destroyed. Stevens kneels down and picks up a burnt greenish stuffed T-Rex and a tattered purple and white unicorn. The Texan holds the items close to his chest and a single tear begins to roll down his face. Scott remains still until his frozen stature is melted by the voice of one of the EPU guards.
“We have to move sir. We are exposed out here.” The guard informs Stevens as he is looking around to make sure the area is still secure. Stevens slowly rises to his feet and lets the dinosaur and unicorn fall back to the ground.
“Take me back to the hotel. I have a job I have to prepare for.” Stevens orders and the lead EPU guard nods and makes a couple of hand movements before surrounding Scott once again and heading back towards the SUV. The door to the SUV quickly opens and Stevens is stuffed inside before closing and speeding away.
Edwin Starr asked one of, if not the most important question this world has ever known:
War. What is it good for?
And the answer we got was the obvious when everyone answered:
However, nothing has changed. War is part of human nature and it’s inevitable. Wars have been fought for various reasons ever since civilizations first started to appear whether it’s from tyranny, oppression, persecution, or even annihilation. It happens and there is no changing it because there are no winners in war, only the ones who survived with less casualties can claim they won of sorts.
Tell all the Germans what they won when they lost World War One and the victors raped, pillage and plundered their lack of everything when they had to pay for losing the war when they didn’t have two pfennigs to rub together. The prize they won is a psychopath feeding off of the fears and desperation of a people who had no one else to turn to.
Christopher America declared after the Treaty of Versailles, “At last the world knows America as the savior of the world.”
However, you couldn’t even save the world from the rise of Hitler could you Chris?
Mel Gibson said it best in the movie the Patriot, “But mark my words. This war will be fought not on the frontier or on some distant battlefield, but amongst us — among our homes. Our children will learn of it with their own eyes. And the innocent will die with the rest of us.”
The is best evident in the Vietnam War which was the first televised war and for the first time Americans saw what was truly happening with their own eyes. Their sons, husbands, fathers, etc. dying on the battlefield in what appears to be a losing effort despite the leaders of our great nation telling them otherwise.
Isn’t that right Conor?
Aren’t you telling everyone on your team the same thing?
Giving them false hope in even more impossible scenario.
Ever since the shot heard ‘round the world and I’m not talking about the American Revolution, I’m talking about my entrance into War Games. The only person that has laid eyes upon me besides my horde of EPU guards watching my every move has been Lee Best. I have been brought in for one reason and one reason only and that is because I am a Dog of War.
I am the destruction and chaos being brought by Team Best towards Team Fuse to ensure their victory.
There is a reason why I have avoided all members of Team Best because I’m not here for them because if I was around them I would lose focus on the task at hand. Most of them have forgotten the whole point of why we are here and I have to make sure everyone is on task when those cage doors lock.
David Noble fixation with Conor Fuse is almost borderline obsession because I know it better than probably anyone when obsession because your singular thought when you wake up every day. The difference between my obsession and David’s is mine was with the thing Conor has in his possession and that the world title not Conor himself.
We can’t have that type of obsession.
Christopher America is loyal to Lee Best without question, and he is focused on War Games, but I feel this one up manship with Solex will differ his attention to the task at hand to the continuation of proving who the better American is if Solex enters the ring.
We can’t have that kind of distraction.
Jace Parker Davidson is the only one that has been focused on this entire match. However, Jace from time to time will be the ultimate opportunist and will sacrifice a member of his own team to ensure that he continues on. Also, he’s been given confidential orders by his former Project Ego partner on the go home show and that was to look out for his “nephew” no matter what. I’ve seen the cracks in the armor and I have to make sure Jace doesn’t put himself above the team or falls on his sword to make sure someone advances if they aren’t worthy of it.
NO ONE IS ABOVE THE TEAM. NO ONE.
Scottywood’s lack of focus is usually a strength because he’s half drunk when he’s in the ring anyways, but this whole latest edition of the Maury Povich Show about who is the father seems to have distracted Scotty enough to cause me to be of concern. Scotty, you can get a paternity test later. Right now, you need to focus on winning because if you don’t all your family will remember that you’ve been remembered the majority of your HOW career and that’s you’re a drunken loser.
Winning isn’t everything. It’s the only thing.
STRONK Godson is probably the most intimidating man in this match. You could say it was Clay Byrd, but like Jay-Z said, “he couldn’t bust a grape in a fruit fight.” STRONK daddy could probably run the gauntlet, but this isn’t singles matches that he’s been able to dominate every week. He’ll probably blow his load trying to fight off everyone and we can’t have that. We have to conserve has much as STRONK’s energy as possible because he’s our Weapon of MASS Destruction. Also, I know you made a decree to protect young Best but remember……
NO ONE IS ABOVE THE TEAM. NO ONE.
Tyler Adrian Best is the least focused out of this entire team. He claims he’s ready, but I see differently. From the recon I have received he’s more focused on the Ukrainian pussy, likes on his social media platform and building the Tyler brand. Pathetic. Here’s some friendly advice son….maybe you should listen to your father about some things. Just because it took him so many years to win two War Games doesn’t mean his advice is wrong because it’s not guaranteed you’ll ever win one and if you think coming out last in the match is a huge advantage you haven’t done your homework. The best advice I’m going to give you is…..
Fall in line or become a casualty of War Games.
I am not the leader of Team Best nor do I want to be, but I am the physical representation of Lee Best in this match and it is my job to ensure the team’s victory and if I pissed you off in any way than part of my job is complete because if you let me down you let Lee down and you know he isn’t having that without some sort of consequence. I’m sure a Bottomline is in someone’s future.
The scene comes back into focus and we see the armored SUV come speeding down the freeway. It comes to a screeching halt and the doors fly open as members of the EPU jump out with weapons drawn. The SUV looks like it’s been under attack.
“Get the Package inside now!” one of the EPU guards shouts as they pull Stevens out of the vehicle and rush him inside. They don’t stop until he is back safely in his room. One of the guards listens to his ear piece.
“Understood.” The guard responds and looks toward Scott. “Under orders of Lee Best you are not to leave this room until further notice. The man informs Stevens who simply nods before taking a seat on the edge of his bed. The EPU make a quick sweep of the room before exiting and as the door closes the image fades.
