As Basic as it really gets

It doesn’t get any standard than this.

This is basic. Will be basic. But I promise this will have substance.

Brian Hollywood vs Shane Reynold’s. We’ve both been around a really long chunk of HOWs existence and I’m pretty sure we’ve never squared off against each other before. Which I find that very surprising given the fact we’ve both been at the top of the mountain at one point or another.

But I know I’m stepping into the ring with a dangerous man. I know the Shane Reynolds I’m stepping into the ring with. But the question is…do you know which Hollywood you’re stepping into the ring with?

Neither of us have shared the ring together before but I know the type of man you are. I haven’t just heard stories…I’ve seen what you have done in that ring to several opponents. It’s not to be taken lightly.

But neither am I.

I like to think I’ve come a long way in just the last month alone from where I was at. And I gotta say I’m a lot happier where I am now than where I was a couple months ago.

I feel alive again. I feel like I matter again. I don’t care what everyone else thinks about me…all I care about is how I care about myself. At the end of the day no one is going to get me where I need to go other than me. I could align with others but even that has its prices.

a war is being waged right now. There is a roster divided. Almost reminds me of War Games. But it isn’t War Games which should tell you that things clearly are not settled around here right now. You’ve got the Final Alliance and then you’ve got those against them. I’ve clearly drawn the lines in the sand for me.

John Sektor snuck a victory last week when he pinned Scott Stevens. I barely missed winning back the HOTv Championship but mark my words….I’m FAR from done. In fact..I want another shot at Sektor just one on one. If he’s got the guts.

As for this week…it’s just me and you Shane. This week my focus is put on you. I have some steam to let off and I’d love nothing more than to square off toe to toe with one of the greatest HOW legends. I feel like we could really put on a great match. Two HOW legends doing battle for the first time!

Its going to be huge that’s for sure.

I know the psychology of you Shane. I’ve seen your work and I know how you are in that ring.

That’s why I’m gonna be more than focused and ready to fight you with everything I’ve got.

My fight continues.

My soul continues to yearn to fight harder and harder.

I’m more alive than I’ve ever been and I can’t wait to lock up with you this weekend Shane.
