The Entrance
Dandy
The regal tones of “Ballad of the Virgin Soldiers” pipe through the HOW PA system, signaling the arrival of “Dandy” Charles de Lacy. Sauntering down the aisle, a look of utter contempt etched on his face, de Lacy glares at the fans who dare to reach towards the expensive silk robe draped over his shoulders. Wiping his feet on the apron, de Lacy steps through the middle rope before turning slowly in the centre of the ring and surveying his surroundings. The referee helps de Lacy remove his robe, handing it to the time-keeper on the outside of the ring, while de Lacy limbers up on the inside with a series of stretches.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Short Bio including Personality: With a name dating back to the 11th century and links to William the Conqueror, Charles de Lacy emanates from noble stock. Born in York, England, he enjoyed a greatly privileged childhood and excelled at sports from an early age. However, after refusing to follow his parents into academia, a vocation that promised much respectability (if little in the way of excitement), de Lacy found that he had soon squandered his sizeable inheritance on booze and high living. Finding himself disinherited, yet still accustomed to the finer things in life, he sought to distinguish himself by making the most of his athletic gifts.
In a career spanning nearly 25 years, the wily veteran has experienced the highs of holding multiple world titles and, latterly, the indignities of working the indies in relative obscurity. Hoping to reignite his career and cement his legacy as one of the finest mat technicians of his generation, he arrives in HOW – penniless and in search of redemption.
