Tragedy strikes War Games

While last night’s War Games pay-per-view should have been a cause for celebration with an amazing display of wrestling from all competitors culminating in an edge-of-your-seat finish, we regret to inform you of a tragic event which took place during the event.

Team captain Evan Ward was rushed to hospital after a horrific attack by the new HOTv Champion, Shawn Mutter, a.k.a. Steve Solex. After his entire team and the remaining Final Alliance members all turned on the controversial wrestler, Evan Ward was assaulted by Shawn Kutter as he made his way out of the ring. Kutter spiked Evan’s head into the entrance ramp. While medical personnel stepped in immediately to administer first aid and took him to the nearest hospital, the preliminary reports suggest the impact caused an aneurysm Evan had secretly been suffering from to burst. While there has yet to be any official confirmation about Ward’s status, we have been informed by the executor of the Ward estate that there will be a funeral service live on the upcoming episode of Chaos.
