Joe Bergman Extends His UK Stay

Joe Bergman may have slammed his hand down in anger after Dan Ryan pinned Scott Stevens last night to end Bergman’s HOTv title run, but you wouldn’t have known that he was upset about what went down by how he acted after the show.

Blaire Moise reports that The former HOTv champion and Sunny O’Callahan held court at the Trafford Pub near Old Trafford after March to Glory along with a sizeable group of Joe’s Section 214 fans… Americans who’d made it over to the UK for the pay-per-view and some newly gained British supporters.  He endeared himself to the people at the pub by buying the house drinks until closing time and didn’t look at all the part of a man who’d just lost a title belt.

Sources tell Blaire that Joe is enjoying his time in the UK… so much so that he has decided to stay an extra week.  So while Sunny flies home on Tuesday to tend to her other managerial responsibilities, Bergman will remain in the UK to tour the country and go to a UK wrestling show.  Joe will also be taking in this Saturday’s football match between Wrexham and Bromley in the southeast part of London before returns back to the States the next Monday.

So with Joe out of the country, we will not see him on this week’s Chaos 25 show.  However, Blaire reports that we will see Sunny O’Callahan Sunday night in her capacity of manager of the HOTv Tag Team Champions The Alabama Gang.  R.G. Jenkins and Mark Hendry will appear on Chaos via satellite to discuss the upcoming HOTv Tag Team title match scheduled now for March 26th.
