Dandy of a Signing
As seen at Chaos 24, High Octane Wrestling has come to terms with Charles de Lacy. The new signing introduced himself to the land of High Octane live from the site of March to Glory, Old Trafford, and home of Manchester United.
With a name dating back to the 11th century and links to William the Conqueror, Charles de Lacy emanates from noble stock. Born in York, England, he enjoyed a greatly privileged childhood and excelled at sports from an early age. However, after refusing to follow his parents into academia, a vocation that promised much respectability (if little in the way of excitement), de Lacy found that he had soon squandered his sizeable inheritance on booze and high living. Finding himself disinherited, yet still accustomed to the finer things in life, he sought to distinguish himself by making the most of his athletic gifts.
In a career spanning nearly 25 years, the wily veteran has experienced the highs of holding multiple world titles and, latterly, the indignities of working the indies in relative obscurity. Hoping to reignite his career and cement his legacy as one of the finest mat technicians of his generation, he arrives in HOW – penniless and in search of redemption.
