Adam Ellis Attacked at MVW House Show and Taken to Hospital

Tonight, Adam Ellis was attacked backstage during Missouri Valley Wrestling’s Council Bluff, Iowa house show at the Mid-America Center.

Ellis was scheduled to main event the show with Joe Bergman in a tag team match against Hollywood reality show stars The Kardoucheian Empire.  But when Bergman checked on Ellis about midway through the show, he found the Men’s Champion unconscious in his dressing room.

An ambulance transported Ellis to the Methodist Jennie Edmundson Hospital where he was admitted for overnight observation.

The big question is- who was behind the attack?

Scott Stevens?  Stevens has been banned from all MVW shows until further notice.  Could he have slipped into the building, attacked Ellis, and slipped back out of the building unseen?

Also, word leaked out this week that Ellis has been seen backstage with Ginny Van Lear- the valet/enforcer of the Kentucky Redneck Mafia and this could have been a message delivered by Ginny’s cousins Cletus T. Johnson and Enos T. Johnson to stay away from her.

The second question is the status of Ellis.  He is also scheduled to wrestle this Sunday night at High Octane Wrestling’s Refueled 98 show with John Sektor against HOW World Champion Conor Fuse and Darin Zion in a tag team match.
