What Happened After the 3 on 1 Handicap Match?

HOWrestling.com cameras caught up with Darin Zion sometime after his victory at Refueled LXIII.  Here’s the footage we have received:

Hobbling around from exhaustion after the 3 on 1 Handicap victory; Darin Zion and Meredith approach their sleeping quarters.   Right before Zion can even open the door; Brian Bare comes over with a microphone in hand to catch up with Zion after the victory.

Brian Bare:  Zion, tell us how you feel after your huge win on Refueled LXIII!  What’s going through your mind right now and what does your future hold?

Cautiously optimistic; Zion turns his head towards Meredith who has a giant smile across her face.   Zion’s waiting to burst at the seams and as soon as he gathers Meredith has given her approval, his voice bursts through the hallways as yells out his glee.

Darin Zion:  I’M GOING TO TOKYO DISNEY, BRIAN!!!!!  That’s what I am going to do!

Meredith:  Uuuuuuh, we didn’t discuss that!  We don’t have the budget!

Zion folds his arms across his chest shaking his head at Meredith.

Darin Zion:  Then we’re going to sing karaoke!!!!

Perplexed at all the celebration and excitement from Zion, Bare pulls back the microphone to ask Zion another question.

Brian Bare:  I think we can all agree a celebration is in order, but some people would argue this is excessive.  Many people want to know, what are your War Games plans after this?

Zion walks up to Bare and snatches the microphone out of his hands.  Glaring through Brian Bare’s soul; Zion gets directly up in Bare’s face.  Bare backs up for a moment as Zion turns and focuses towards the camera.

Darin Zion:  Everyone can wait for my War Games plans.  I’ve never gotten to celebrate a win like this.  Everyone tries to tell me; it’s just one win!  Don’t get ahead of yourself.   But think about it, Bare.  Look at the history of all my wins in HOW.  Everyone puts an asterisk in front of them all, taking them away from me.  I’ve won 7 different HOW Championships.  7!  I’ve dealt with that my entire life.  Even outside the squared circle!  Anytime I try to celebrate an accomplishment both in and outside of that right; someone comes right up and steals my joy.

Zion takes a deep sigh before continuing.

Darin Zion:  You know what that feels like?  It makes you feel like your lesser than everyone else.  I just beat a newly Christened Hall of Famer, a future Hall of Famer with 3 World Championships and various other championships attached to his name, and the current HOW World Champion.    You want to take that from me?  Fine!  I don’t care anymore.  If that makes you feel better about yourselves at life; do it.  But as for me; I’m taking time to let off some steam before next week.  I’ve put immense pressure on myself for the last 3 years of my HOW career to get a moment like this and it finally came.

Zion smiles at Bare before wiping his suit and adjusting his tie.

Darin Zion:  I PROMISE you; I’m not going to get ahead of myself this time.  I know the gravitas of this victory.  But if you think for one God forsaken minute, I’m becoming a workaholic again and adding unwanted pressure going into War Games: you’re sadly mistaken.  Everyone can wait for my answer until I’m ready to give it.  Let… them… all… stew….

Zion’s smirk curls from ear to ear before shoving the microphone back into Bare’s chest before he heads to his quarters.  Bare turns towards Meredith who simply walks off before the cameras fade to black.
