Update on Eric Dane

HOW wrestler Eric Dane was released from an undisclosed medical facility in Chicago early this morning where he was taken after Saturday night’s Refueled XXXIV event at the Allstate Arena where he was the victim of a merciless beating at the hands of the returning Lady of the Hour, Lindsay Troy.

Dane, a twenty-five year veteran of the sport, was brought in with internal bleeding as well as complaints of shortness of breath and the inability to move his neck more than a couple of degrees either direction. Unofficially the diagnosis is two broken ribs and a mild case of whiplash. It is unclear as of yet if The Only Star will miss any ring time or not due to the injuries as he refused comment upon his discharge.

In 2016 in a match with Cayle Murray for rival promotion DEFIANCE Eric Dane suffered a neck injury after taking a Ganso Bomb from Murray. Dane underwent a two level spinal fusion of the discs between his C5, C6 and C7 vertebrae. He returned to action a year later, but wrestling has continued to wear on his body and this new neck injury has the potential to start The Only Star down a slippery slope if he’s not both careful and lucky.
