Refueled XIII Preview

The first weekly show of High Octane Refueled era kicks off the Lee Best Invitational tonight with a four match card featuring matches in Group A- the Narcotic Group and Group B- the Embosser Group.

Four debuts and two returns highlight tonight’s matches starting off with:

Deacon vs. Crash Rodriguez
In a Group A match, Crash Rodriguez returns to the HOW fold after some time off as he faces off against the mysterious Deacon who’ll will be making his HOW debut accompanied to the ring by the equally mysterious Magdalena.

Crash showed a lot of promise when he came to HOW in 2019.  Can he pick up right where he left off tonight against his seven foot opponent from Egypt who made quite the impression at ICONIC when he came out and chokeslammed High Flyer following his match with Max Kael?

Black Mamba vs. Teddy Palmer
Speaking of returns, Black Mamba James Ranger comes back to HOW to meet a debuting Teddy Palmer in another Group A match.

This will be an interesting matchup as the Mamba hasn’t been in a HOW ring full time in several years and Palmer is coming off a five year layoff from wrestling.  Both wrestlers may be a little rusty as they try to get up to speed quickly in the fast pace of HOW.

Buck Yates vs. Rick Dickulous
The first match of Group B, this first round match features Aussie Buck Yates who’s looked very good in his first two HOW matches picking up wins over Jace Savage and the monster Chris Kostoff.  His debuting opponent tonight comes from Dominion Pro Wrestling where he is a second generation superstar- Rick Dickulous.

Can Yates continue his winning ways against the massive 425 pound Canadian Lumberjack?  If he does, Yates will be doing it with a ‘smile.’

Brian Hollywood vs. Alex Redding
The former CEO of Hollywood Enterprises gets back to work against former GCW star Alex Redding – another HOW debut – in the final Group B match of the evening.

Hollywood missed out on ICONIC but did end up wrestling last week at a MVW house show to keep himself sharp.  Will his new frame of mind and working out at Mike Best’s Five Time Academy get Mr. Executive back on an upward career track against an opponent who’s made clear he’s going to be all business when he hits the ring in Chicago tonight?

All these questions and more will be answered tonight at Refueled XIII on HOTv.
